Lodgepole Creek and Muleskinner Canyon

The town near the head of the westering railhead and closest to the lands of the Lakota.  The big fights against the plains people will be found here but perhaps also gold prospecting and certainly railroad related activities not confined to the largest town to the east.

edit on 12/2/24: Muleskinner Canyon is a nest of thieves, harlots, and ne'er-do-wells, a place where even lawmen fear to tread.
