The painted parade - well, mostly painted

A few shots of a bunch of my painted - a lot by me, quite a few by John W.:

The "not so nice" folk on the left.  A bunch of multi-figure based civilians, mostly unarmed, on the right before I decided to focus on single basing.

The Mexicans in the upper left - still needing to get their bases textured.  Below them are the former slaves, black men (at least 25% of the cowboys of the Old West were black - and some of them were women).

Off to the right are a dozen each unarmed men and women, the first to get single based once I committed to going that direction.  And glad to report there are enough dead figures for my standard for 'only dismounted' sets of six figures plus one dead.  Again, some of these still need their bases textured.

The "mostly nice" folk in this box with a few still needing to get painted.  On the right top are Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, and Belle Starr - not necessarily in that order.  Below them is Sister Veronica/Veronica Voluptuous (in demure and less so garb versions) and her mule Clinty.  Moving down are the prospector brothers and their mules Minty and Woody.  At the bottom right is the unpainted C.J. Mongo with a longhorn head below him - a gate or wall trophy when I get that far.  The bottom row with the two unpainted 'sets' are my "Legends" - not historical or Hollywood, just 'created' for my Old West world; sometimes the Legends are in the 'nice' camp and sometime not at all.

That is less than half of my mounted civilians purchased - keeping 156 total sets of mounted/foot/dead including what you see above but with no intention to ever have them all on the table at once.  Just wanted a wide variety.  While you might be saying 'that's crazy' and you may be right, again, it is actually a bit of sanity on display by choosing to 'let go' of the balance.

Only have 42 more'sets' of the civilians to finish prepping and priming, bases already prepped for them all.  Apaches and native villagers and village 'scatter' still to go finish prepping.
