The Great Distraction - the wife's holiday village. Takes a lot of time - and time away from getting ready for a game. Such is the vagaries of married life.
Not all bad, managed to get the stockyard assembled and should have it painted tomorrow, maybe some work on it later today. Herefords and black baldies for this shot but longhorns for the game, more of them than what you see here.
Same without the cattle. Those leaning open bits represent gate locations - didn't have enough closed gate pieces so I extemporized so that every 'fully enclosed' area had a gate of some sort. The portion at this end represents the loading shoots for stock cars - which will not get done in time for the game in two days but other train bits are getting worked on at the painting table once I get done here.Same from the other end.
All figures on my end painted and ready for game. A few more figures - and maybe some more single based civilians (???) - should be ready for the game though perhaps without properly textured basis unless they get to me early in the day tomorrow.
